Jumping!

video

As you can see, JJ has a big time in his Jumperoo! Big sister likes to "help" him sometimes and of course, that's even more fun since he adores her.

After naptime today...She was surprised!

See???

She was so happy...one of those moments Mommy just loved taking in. She loves Christmas trees.

Swinging

JJ now loves to swing at the park! Of course, going to the park is still one of Sydney's favorite things, but now these visits are twice as fun!

BG 10K (5K for us!)

On Halloween, we participated in the Medical Center 10K classic. This is the 6th time Jeff and I have been in the race. Sydney has participated 3 times. Of course, this is JJ's first year. AND, this year we had even more fun since aunt April, uncle Tim, and cousin Lilly came to do the race with us. We all had a great time during their visit going to the pasta party, letting the girls play, and walking/running the race.

Our two were ready for the race!

The whole crew after the race

And one more of my first time racer in that adorable monkey hat :)

JJ's Baby Dedication

Sunday, October 25th was a sweet time of celebration as we participated with JJ in Family/Baby Dedication at church. Here, we committed to partner with our church family as we nuture, train & teach our precious blessing JJ about our Lord and Savior Jesus.

It made the day even more special since both sets of JJ's grandparents were able to be with us.

We pray every day for their salvation. We ask that you pray alongside us that both JJ and Sydney will someday receive Jesus in their hearts, that Jeff and I will be faithful in teaching and encouraging them, that ultimately they will both spend their earthly lives following him and live forever with HIM in heaven.

JJ's Six Month Stats & First Tooth!

On October 23-the day we moved...we took Sydney and JJ to the doctor-both got flu shots while JJ had 3 more shots and his six month checkup.

It went very well, and he got a great health report from his doctor. The doctor was very impressed that Sydney could sing her ABC's for him (as she hid behind my chair after her flu shot).

Of course, as we all know, JJ is a big little guy :). He weighed in at 20 lb and 1 oz. This puts him in the 90th percentile for weight, and also means that he is a half a pound bigger at 6 months than Sydney was at A YEAR! He measured 26.5 inches in length, which put him in the 70th percentile for height. And, his head size is also at the top of the charts.
My little guy also is sporting his first tooth (bottom middle) at only 6 1/2 months!

Above he is playing in one of his new favorite things...our Jumperoo! He is truly a joy to be around.
