Psalm 106:1 Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!

Thankful for Jesus. Thankful that is nearly time to celebrate his birthday! Thankful for God's grace and his hand in my life. Thankful for all the truth revealed in his Word.

Thankful for Jeff. Thankful for my family, church, friends, home, health, resources & job.

James 1:17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Thankful for three perfect gifts.

Thankful they call me Mommy.

Thankful God entrusted us with them.

Thankful he has blessed me so abundantly.

Psalm 30:12 That my glory may sing your praise and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Season Finale

Last weekend, Sydney's soccer team (The Zoom) played their last game of the season. Coach Jeff and Coach John presented them with trophies.

Can you tell how happy/proud these girls were to receive such a special gift?

And just so I won't forget my soccer star's performance in her season finale-she scored 7(!!!) goals. Pretty sure there will be more soccer for her in the near future!

A couple weeks ago, we attended the Homecoming Parade.

We gathered with three other families between campus and the square to watch the floats, cars, band, and wait for the candy! Between the parade and Halloween, SG and JJ have loaded up on candy lately! We played Louisiana this year, and the students had plenty of necklaces for them as well.

Part of the crew waits with anticipation.

First parade!!!!

The students made sure SG and JJ were well taken care of.

Showing off a few of his necklaces...not sure if you can tell,
but his pockets are so stuffed with candy.

Toppers won the Homecoming game and their 5th in a row on Saturday...happy for our team and to see coach seeing success as things are turning around.

Lots of Treats

We dressed up and went to Sydney's school for their Trunks of Treats on Sunday night. Monday night, we did the same at our church. The kids had a lot of fun-all five of us did!

We saw lots of friends and Luke even met some special guests :)

The reason only Luke met them?...Because the princess and the train were hiding behind me!

More fun...

And, today Luke and I attended Sydney's Halloween (costume) parade and party at school. Here, her class stops after the parade for a photo.

To sum up Halloween 2011...Snow White and Thomas (and the glowworm too) have had a big time...a very fun time...and we have so enjoyed being a part of their fun!
